How it works

Collect: Users submit quotes and invoices; we also incorporate vetted partner datasets and public rate sheets.
Validate: We anonymize documents, remove personal identifiers, and verify trade, scope, and location metadata.
Normalize: Costs are standardized to comparable units (hourly, per-fixture, per-sq-ft) and split into labor vs. materials when available.
Index & Aggregate: We apply regional indices, trim outliers, and compute robust medians with interquartile ranges.
Publish: Benchmarks and trends are updated continuously as new data arrives.
